    hole.
    Shank
    is about 3/16" long,
    so it seats well in a glued hole and will not fall out like shorter ones.
    Round Mushroom Head sits above the hole when installed.
    Round Head is about 1/4" high.
    Overall height of button is about 7/16".
    To install buttons, place a small dab of glue in the hole
    and hammer-tap the button to seat it.
    1/2" diameter is the mounting hole size.
